Podkarpackie — Subcarpathia, the south-eastern corner of Poland — is a region you cover by car: castles and old towns in one direction, the Bieszczady mountains in another. Mielec sits in that region, north of the mountains and within reach of both. It is not a resort, and we will not pretend otherwise; what it offers is a proper apartment at a sensible price, in the centre, with somewhere to leave the car.

An apartment beats a hotel room on a touring trip

After a day of driving, an apartment with a seating area and air conditioning is a different proposition from a hotel room with a bed and a television. Ours are finished around six different parts of the world, so you can pick the one you fancy waking up in; all have a Smart TV and fast Wi-Fi, and the ones with a separate seating area — JAPAN, SCANDI and N.Y LOFT — give couples somewhere to sit that is not the bed.

Slow mornings

Breakfast comes from the FitCake café in the same building. Eat there, or have a breakfast box delivered to the apartment; boxes are ordered at least a day ahead and arrive the evening before, at around 17:00, so you can leave at dawn with breakfast already in the car. Add it while booking, or ask us later.

Getting in, getting out

Check-in is from 14:00 with a door code sent before your arrival — useful when a day out runs long and you get back late. Check-out is by 11:00. Parking at the building is free and private, and the address, ul. Wolności 66A, 39-300 Mielec, goes into a satnav exactly as written.

Two nights or more, and it gets cheaper

Booking direct is the best rate we offer, and it improves with length: 10% off the accommodation from two nights, 15% from six, applied automatically in the summary. Prices are in Polish złoty. If you are arriving by air first, see getting to Mielec from Rzeszów or Kraków airport.
