Arriving in Mielec from Rzeszów or Kraków airport

The two airports people use

Rzeszów-Jasionka is the nearer of the two and the one most international visitors to the region use. Kraków lies further west but has far more connections, so plenty of guests land there instead and drive across. Almost everyone covers the last stretch by road — a hire car, a company driver or a booked transfer.

We deliberately publish no distances, drive times or bus and train timetables here: they change, they depend on your route, and a stale number on an accommodation website has caused more missed connections than it ever solved. A late arrival is not a problem

This is the part worth knowing before you book anything in Mielec. Global Home has no reception. You are sent a door code before you travel, and that code opens the apartment from 14:00 on your arrival day onwards — including at two or three in the morning, when a delayed connection finally releases you. Nobody has to wait up for you, and there is no key to collect from a third party. Check-out is by 11:00.

Where to leave the car

There is free private parking at the building, so the hire car stays with you rather than circling the centre of a town you have never driven in before. The address is ul. Wolności 66A, 39-300 Mielec; enter it in your navigation exactly as it is written, in Polish, and it will take you to the entrance.

What you walk into

Six self-contained apartments, each finished around a different part of the world, each with air conditioning, a Smart TV and fast Wi-Fi. Rates below are live from our booking system and are quoted in Polish złoty.

The morning after

The FitCake café is in the same building, which is a fair thing to know when you have arrived at four in the morning and have no intention of hunting for breakfast. Eat there, or order a breakfast box to the apartment a day ahead.
